        Just enjoyed a two night stay here and cant praise it highly enough. Its a traditional guest house which is absolutely immaculately kept by the host Dawn. She greeted us when we arrived a with a friendly smile and nothing was too much trouble, including supplying us with bin liners for our wet gear after a particularly challenging days walking on the fells. The room was very well maintained and spotless, but the best bit of the stay was the fantastic breakfast which set us up for the entire day. If you are looking for somewhere well-located and friendly then look no more.

        Excellent location and service. We had two rooms, one on the top floor Which had a small bathroom but nice hot shower. The other room had a nice big bathroom. Both had comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious and the host was friendly and knowledgeable about the various hikes available to do in the area
