We had such a lovely stay whilst in the area for business; the rooms were beautifully appointed and really warm. We all had great sleeps followed by delicious breakfast which was made to order so fresh and hot. Jane and Mark were really friendly and kept in touch before arrival to ensure we know where the house was and how to check in. If I had reason to be in Windermere again I would not hesitate to stay at Thornbank!

Had a great stay at this guesthouse and Jane and Mark were really friendly and welcoming hosts. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location is well situated between Windermere and Bowness-On-Windermere so near to all amenities and within short driving distance to many lakes and walking routes. Thanks again to Jane and Mark for a great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Thornbank. The room was clean and well maintained and so was the ensuite. The hosts made sure we had all the information we needed prior to arrival and even while we were there. The location of this guest house is also perfect as it is close to the town and to bus stops. Will definitely book this place again when we visit the lakes next.
