1 Park Road

My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay here. Hilton gave us a nice, warm welcome and we got to meet Minnie the fluffy 4 legged office manager. Hilton takes the time to remember guest names which is a nice touch and asks the guests what their plans are for the day. We booked a Superior King Room which room was very clean and the bed extremely comfy, decent pillows too. Tea and coffee topped up every day which is perfect after some long walks. There's a good selection of items on the breakfast buffet and a nice little choice of hot breakfast items. Hilton recommended some touristy things for us to do and a couple of restaurants (Brown Sugar and Tapios, the food at both these places is amazing). I can't recommend 1 Park Road enough, Hilton was a superb host and it is very clear he takes a lot of pride in his profession and this shows. Thank you for a great few days Hilton, we hope to stay with you again soon.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at 1 Park Road. Hilton is the perfect host, very helpful, lots of great local info. The guest house is spotless. The rooms are amazing, well equipped and have very comfortable beds. The breakfast is second to none..... so much choice! The freshly cooked English is wow. Thank you for making our stay so good. We hope to return.

Hilton is such a lovely helpful host, wed have missed lots if hed not told us about the transport, location of sights, restaurants, & pubs!!!!!! Breakfast fabulous, rooms beautiful, spacious, nothing too much trouble, Ill be back for sure, & would highly recommend 1 Park Road to others, its literally minutes walk from the centre of Windermere, I wish Hilton well for the future
