        Just off the main Lake Road between Windermere and Bowness. Small B&B with 9 rooms, stayed in no 9 and no7 - both quirky, clean, and homely - comfy beds too. Welcomed with a cuppa abd cake which was unexpected but nice. Breakfast was a good choice, went for Full English breakfast. Staff were welcoming abs helpful. Hopefully I will get back. It's about halfway between Windermere and Bowness and only a few minutes walk from the main road abd the stagecoach bus service which makes a change to driving Rooms: No 9 - The Attic, comfy double bed with separate bathroom and sitting area with TV. Clean- comfortable and well furnished.
