Anita and Denis were warm, accommodating and helpful hosts. Great location near bus routes and the train station, room was spacious with great bathroom facilities, beautiful view (from our room you could even see the lake!), comfy bed - everything was so comfy and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options (unlike other b&bs where you are forced to eat English breakfast for days on end...) - they had fresh fruit and yoghurt, omelettes, bagels and a fabulous Carribbean breakfast with saltfish fritters, plantains etc. to choose from. Don't forget to book directly with them on their website for a better deal for both host and guest! Couldn't have asked for a better stay in the Lakes, thank you Anita and Denis.

Second time I have stayed at the Archway. Anita and Denis were happy to put us up on short notice and were as last time incredibly accommodating. Unfortunately we were leaving early, so weren't able to have one of Denis's incredible Carribbean Breakfasts, (Highly reccommended!) We did however take advantage of the discount available from nearby 'Tapios' the night before when we showed our room key. Will certainly keep them as our first port of call for whenever were go to Windermere and hope to see them again soon!
