Walkability: Not far to walk into bowness or Windermere . Handy having a bus stop outside the accommodation too

We're currently 3 nights in to our 4 night stay and couldn't be happier with our choice of accommodation. Ian, the owner, is so helpful yet not intrusive and he will help with anything you need. The rooms are finished throughout the building to a very high standard with no expense spared creating a real home away from home experience. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic quality with a good choice to choose from. Ideally located in between Windermere and Bowness, both are a pleasant 10 min walk in either direction. Plenty of parking and free access to a local health centre with a pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. I'd definitely stay again and would recommend to all my friends and family.

5 stars arent enough! Beautifully kept guest house, furnishings, cleanliness, warm welcome & lovely breakfast. Fab location too! Thank you for making us feel very comfortable.

Stayed two nights at Glencree. The room was very clean and modern. Well stocked tea and coffee station. Even a tiny fridge if needed. All doors were coded, so there was no need for having to carry keys. Situated between the two villages, so was a 10 min walk to either one. Breakfast was lovely and had a good variety of options. Ian was so accommodating, helpful, and was always a quick message away. We felt very welcomed and looked after.
