Beechwood Hotel

***** HIGHLY RECOMMEND***** If you're planning to visit Bowness on Windermere don't look anywhere else and check availability here first! We had a 3-night stay at Beechwood and had never been here or to the area ever before. From the time we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Catherine treating us as you would your family member, from asking if we had a safe journey to seeing if we knew the area and if we had any problems where to find her. I'm used to going into a B&B and having a card reader shoved in my face to make the remainder of the payment before being shown to your room. Not here, we were told to go and make ourselves relaxed and settle then whenever we wanted to make the payment just let her know, Honestly the service, care, and passion shown by Catherine were outstanding. The breakfast was to die for. Of course, we had the full-english breakfast every day, our table was laid ready for us with Catherine going the extra mile remembering what drinks we had, to even which sauce we preferred. The room was pristine, we had our room made daily which was an option at no extra cost and the standard the room was in when we got back was outstanding. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of the Lake and the little town with plenty of restaurants and pubs to pick from. Thank you, Catherine, for the amazing service, care, and passion you put into Beechwood, you made our stay very memorable and we will definitely be back, absolutely worth every penny, keep up the fantastic work.
