Why not 5 stars? Well, its the little things that make the difference and while on whole the experience is great, it could be improved. We booked an outside shed which are a great idea and offer groups a sense of privacy and intimacy compared to other areas of the pub. However, the cleanliness of the booth could be better. Stained cushions and discarded rubbish from previous guests. When the server came to wipe the table, he sprayed the table blasting us with whatever cleaning product he was using. I suggested to him that perhaps he spray the cloth in future! Aside from that, great food and polite staff, so as I said small improvements and it would be 5 stars.

Request Nicola for Dark and Stormy cocktails. Request Lucy for the perfect Irish Coffee. Stunning venue with ample natural light due to oversized arch windows. Highly skilled, likeable, personable, professional, and capable staff. The Kings has been my local for 3 decades. In my opinion this is the best iteration yet. Youngs owned and Piers managed. I am personally grateful to the bar team of Nicola, Nell, Lucy, Dom, Roland, Hristiyan, Mihail and Dimi. And to the restaurant staff that includes Alina and head chef Jurgita, who served a special Lamb Special (photo attached) today. Much appreciated team. See you soon.
