I dont know this school but when I was 14 I learnt how black people in 60s US deep south couldnt attend their local school because of the colour of their skin and I remember thinking thank goodness that doesnt happen here. Now I have a child of my own and it turns out they cant attend our local school, not because of the colour of their skin but because we are not the correct religion. How can this situation exist in the UK in 2017?
