Andy and his team are professional, hard working and reasonable! Andy built our single story rear and side extension, he was punctual and have an efficient crew. He was understanding and accommodating with changes and he was reasonable with cost. We would have no hesitation hiring or recommending Andy for any of our own or friends future projects, in fact if we knew Andy earlier we probably have asked him to convert our loft.

Andy and his team completed a ground floor extension and renovation for us, and we would not hesitate to recommend them. From start to finish the whole team was professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent throughout - Andy was always responsive, helpful and seemed to really care about every aspect of the project. All work was performed to a high standard and on time, and the highly competent team took any changes in their stride. We are very happy with the end result and we will certainly use Golden Ray Development for any future projects.

I have purchased a house that had the rear extension built by Andy and his team. Prior to purchase completion, Andy rebuffed my general questions with a single email claiming he would not answer as i was not the legal owner of the property. OK, fair enough. Now i am the legal owner of the property and tried once more to get in touch with Andy hoping to obtain a few clarifications and discuss a new project but despite calling and emailing multiple times - absolutely no response. It has been over a month. For me, this is a red flag. A truly professional outfit, who stands by their work, would not hesitate to discuss their past works and future upsells. In this case, its total silence. Given the initial vagueness and zero responsiveness now - I would caution anyone thinking of using Andy. He might do a job, but seems like he might disappear straight after.

Andy and his team created a loft conversion, in our three storey (now four storey) Victorian terrace. We are delighted with the work - it has all been to a very high standard, including fantastic aluminium cladding on the outside, and great finishes throughout the bedroom and en-suite. It was a pleasure to work with Andy and his team - he was very understanding when we changed our mind on things, when we ran into challenges they were dealt with quickly and professionally, and he was always ready to talk things through as we went through the build. He teamed up well with all the other tradespeople effectively so the electrics and plumbing were all done on time and to a high standard. Would certainly recommend.
