Lovely food, atmosphere and service. Have been a couple of times since it reopened. Nice cosy setting and interesting menu. All staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit

Completely forgot to say my local the Roebuck has been taken over and what a lovely team they are. Plus Ive now got a new favourite beers Butcombe Bitter. Just delightful Cant wait to try the food

Excellent Sunday Lunch Noticed a prior poor review. The Roebuck, we learned, is under new management. We booked yesterday for a roast. It was an entirely random booking made while visiting family. We had a lovely lunch. Lots of veg, beautifully cooked pork / beef & all served hot rather than luke-warm. Short but reasonable wine list with good value to be had. The service was attentive & enthusiastic, the welcome was warm & the place has a happy atmosphere. We dont live locally but will be back next time we visit our family.

We had a lovely lunch. Lots of veg, beautifully cooked pork / beef & all served hot rather than luke-warm. Short but reasonable wine list with good value to be had.
The service was attentive & enthusiastic, the welcome was warm & the place has a happy atmosphere. We dont live locally but will be back next time we visit our family.
