        Choosing a counsellor was scary but I was very pleased I chose Darren. I went for the twenty minute consultation and felt at ease immediately. I then worked with Darren for two blocks of sessions over several months. He is an excellent listener and then re-presents the information in a way that starts the work towards resolving unhelpful pre-conceptions. Also, he eased out memory patterns that have inhibited aspects of my life. Definitely Ive progressed through the talking and reflecting. Definitely my unhelpful thoughts and patterns have started to dissolve and I have improved my self-confidence.

        Darren's sessions take place in a safe and private environment, and he is a calm, welcoming and non-judgmental individual. I found that speaking with him provided a sense of well-being and clarity that has had a notable positive impact on my mental health. He allows you to lead the sessions, gently guiding the process of introspection without directly steering it. I recommend him highly to anybody looking to explore personal issues in a welcoming space.
