I was introduced to the pool facilities by other who had used it, and signed up for the Winchester Health assessment and hydrotherapy sessions. I am living with the effects of multiple hip replacements and the consequent muscle weknesses. The sessions have been excellent. A student-led preliminary assessment was very thorough, and the sessions in the pool have been very beneficial, building strength, confidence, and balance. The facilities are really fantastic, and spotlessly clean. The combination of Liam, the very experienced tutor, and the two third year students on placement, ensures plenty of attention, and the group itself builds morale. I feel I can now progress on my own, and some long-standing group members might consider making way for others who need the treatment.
