They just gone into administration!!! They were supposed to install our solid roof 20th June. then the date was moved to 18th July and 3 weeks ago 11th August. Yesterday we received a call that the company have gone into administration!! Our house is being renovated and this was a key step in the renovation. now, its a building site and everything that depending on that is delayed for who knows!

Unfortunately you can't provide zero stars! County Windows seemed to have died & doing so, they have left loads of customers and trades people in the lurch & out of pocket. I heard on the 29th July 2022 they went in liquidation. They were supposed to return to site to complete our orangery, but that won't now happen. What is slightly odd is when we placed the order in September last year we were provided with a 120 day insurance policy, just in case something like this happened. That was through DGCOS Ombudsman Scheme. Trouble is County didn't start the project until the 5th April 2022 so the insurance was totally useless & whilst they claim the project was complete, there were missing parts & the orangery is not water tight. From what I can see, no one seems to know what is going on, we will have no warranties on anything. God knows what has gone on, its far too easy to blame covid, but there seems to be a far deeper rooted issues than that....

Ordered four windows and front door with matching side panels. The windows went in fine and on time. The door was delayed as expected- no issue with that but did not arrive with thumb latch as requested. I was initially told it would take a week then that turned into two, then three then so on- about 9 weeks later and much chasing the wrong one was just purchased off the shelf from Screwfix or Toolstation which could of been done the same day- it was not matching in colour or style so had to wait in total 3 months to have this resolved- supply chain issues we constantly being used as an excuse but when the install manager eventually looked into it they hadnt been sent and then two arrived on his desk the same day! If they were actually looking after their customers and following things up this would have been highlighted straight away and resolved. They really are not fussed about looking after you. The fitting guys are excellent- office staff not so! Update. Back in February- after completing the renovation we realised you could see daylight through a closed window in 3 separate rooms. The response was slow and prolonged. Absolute shower of . Of a company and not surprised theyve gone bust. Subsequently had windows fitted half the price and double the quality from another local firm.
