Cloudbreak, Winchelsea Beach

We had a wonderful stay here at the end of August/early September with our three teens and dog. The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully equipped. The welcome pack is a really lovely touch. It's very well maintained and feels luxurious. There's a snug (not pictured in listings) off the kitchen with a sofa and television that was a perfect little hideaway for our teens. This was just at the end of a heatwave, and we had plenty of powerful fans for all bedrooms and the main living area. The best part about it is the view - it was so wonderful to sit on the balcony every day and enjoy the seaside, literally right outside the door. Winchelsea Beach never seemed to get crowded, even on a bank holiday weekend. Certainly nothing like Camber Sands can get. When the tide's in, there is only the pebble beach but it's still gorgeous and you can walk for miles in either direction. There's a paved path at the top of the beach, perfect for cycling. The beauty of staying in this house is that you can look out the window to check the tide, then pop out the back to enjoy the beach seconds later. This is the second Camber Holiday Cottages house we've stayed in, and the service has been excellent both times. Georgina is quick to answer any questions or send someone round if needed. We will definitely be back!
