We just enjoyed a beautiful family weekend at Stoats. Stoats is a real home from home. It is cosy and comfortable with everything we needed- a well equipped kitchen, huge comfy sofas and beds, good WiFi and even board games. The property easily fits a large extended family group and is set up for that with four bedrooms and a big reception room with a useful family table for enjoying meals and games together. The host was responsive and helpful. The location has lots of offer including the beautiful nature reserve at Rye, the beach of course, the pretty town with plenty of independent shops and cafes. We enjoyed walks with dogs and runs. We have already booked our week in the summer and we can't wait to return!

Stoats provides me with peace, beauty, opportunities to explore nature in its many guises including sand, sea, huge skies, fields, rivers, woods and footpaths. All, including a small supermarket, Mr Sutton's food specialities & The Ship are within walking distance. The house is comfortable and well equipped especially the kitchen. I've stayed at Stoats four times and am looking forward to my next visit, perhaps in the autumn.

Just back from a glorious weekend at Stoats. The house was really great. Spacious, but cosy, with everything we needed. A really thoughtful welcome hamper, with some delicious treats for everyone, which was a lovely touch. We had a great time paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake at Rye Watersports, which was fun for all ages, before heading to the intriguing and wild Dungeness for fish and chips at The Britannia. The beaches close by are beautiful... Camber sands was vast and empty, great for dog walking and letting the kids run wild! And Winchelsea beach is also a great place for a morning stroll. We dropped in to The Ship to visit the butchers and deli. Some amazing local meat and produce and well worth a trip! The house had good wifi and we enjoyed watching a movie together on the massive comfy sofas before bed. All in all, I would highly recommend Stoats. Its perfectly placed and suits families with kids and dogs or groups of friends who love nature and outdoor activities
