Castle Gatehouse

I am not sure which was greater how charmed we were by the gatehouse or how comfortable it was. If you want a bit of magic and romance for your trip, book the gatehouse at Sudeley Castle. It is beautifully appointed, complete with everything you could need. From the dog water bowl to the childs high chair, every last item is provided in the fresh and clean bit of heaven. The castle and stunning gardens in the right in the back yard top it off to make it a very special, full of charm, and very comfortable place to stay.

Ideal setting close to the village centre but far enough away to feel special. Just a stroll to the castle too. Quiet, surrounded by fields and countryside views. Birds and at dusk bats to watch. Ideal for those with dogs, as appears to be a dog walkers paradise. Accommodation did not disappoint. Especially during the current hot weather it was a welcome cool retreat. Everything you could need there and lots of pubs and places to eat not far away. We assume due to the Emma Dent and her Coat of Arms that this gatehouse and another close to the castle were built during her spell as custodian. Charming holiday.
