I can highly recommend Gemma. She drew 10 beautiful black and white illustrations for my book Breaking Bad Patterns. A polar bear and a parrot and it was a fun process to see them evolve. Hope to work with her again on another book.

Life drawing was something I'd wanted to try for a long time. I've been attending Gemma's life drawing classes for about three months and the difference in my drawings has been amazing. Gemma is always on hand to share guidance, explanations and short lessons on different techniques. A variety of materials and paper to use and a range of models from week-to-week means there's always something new to do. Thoroughly enjoyable and recommended.

I cant recommend Gemmas art classes highly enough, theyre great! Specifically I love the guidance she gives through the short drawing demonstrations she gives at the beginning of each class. This helps to put you in the right mindset before your own attempt at drawing and you benefit from the years of knowledge and skill which Gemma possesses. The atmosphere in the classes is always very friendly and relaxed and youll meet some great people. Through drawing youll begin to see the physical world that surrounds you quite differently. Thank you Gemma, Im loving your art classes. I started with zero experience and ability and really enjoy the relaxed fun environment, sharing learning as we practice together. Its a brilliant journey and you help us understand the importance of prospective, proportion and shading etc etc using a mix of equipment.
