    Weve just completed phase one of our Loxone retro-fit system focusing mainly on the outside of our house and garden for the summer months. So far we have been very impressed with the Loxone system and also really impressed with Amica Smart Homes and the way they approached our installation. First of all we visited the demonstration rooms to learn a bit more about smart home systems and weather or not we could bring all the various control systems and equipment we have in the house onto one platform rather than spending all our time going round the house switching things on and off and setting different timers. We had an existing irrigation system which was a baffling ordeal to operate which we wanted automated and the garden lighting needed a serious update. After our initial consultation we decided to go ahead with the integration of our existing irrigation system, upgrade our garden lighting system and add audio to the garden and outdoor bar area. Arron arrived promptly to design the installation and the install went ahead soon after. They were very clean and helpful and were also happy to make changes and additions as the install went along. What we have ended up with is superb. The Loxone equipment and weather station completely control our irrigation system automatically and we dont need to interfere with it at all, the timings of each zone are improved to not waste water and give each area only the water it requires if its not getting watered naturally by the weather. The garden lighting is very well done. It comes on automatically at dusk and turns off automatically or manually as we desire. The lighting scenes and colour changing lights we have had installed in and around are bar area are superb. One of the other great things we like about this system is the fact we do not have to complete it all in one go and we can simply add to our home as we wish. Especially now weve found the right people to work with.

    We had a problem with our electrics ( 40 year old wiring). I reached out to Amica Electrical as recently heard about Loxone for smart home tech. Ben (Amica) came out to visit the house and was able to suggest a number of solutions within my timeframe and budget. I was also pleased to hear that I can continue to build devices/services as add-ons once I purchased the Loxone server. Ben/team came out and installed colour changing lights in my kitchen along with running new switches that can control a number of other lighting systems. I had purchases cheaper smart home bulbs etc, but they lost connection and I never felt safe leaving them on. The service and support I received from Amica was fantastic and have recommend them to my friends and family. I have lived for years with poor lighting, often just using lamps as the main lighting source and thanks to Ben/team I can now control all my lighting through my smart home app. Please do visit their Ferndown Demo rooms as I was unaware of all tech on offer. Great team , great service/support.
