The Dancing Moose Bar & Cookhouse - Wimborne

Amazing food and great atmosphere. Quite pricey on the drinks and food menu but I guess you get what you pay for and it's quality rather than quantity!!! Would definitely return and recommend

Food delicious. Staff was nice. Adding it to the list of favourites. Also they had a projector to watch the rugby.

I visited the dancing moose today the service was hit and miss the one lady was very upbeat and helpful and the other was abrupt and quite frankly, rude. I asked if I could swap pickles for jalapeos in my burger and I was told this wouldnt be a problem. When the bill arrived I was charged an additional 1.95 for the privilege of a few jalapeos in my burger I could have bought a jar for less. I, of course like any sane person wouldnt have paid the almost 2 for literally a few jalapeos if I had been made aware of this insane charge for a swap beforehand. Also on the bill was a supposed optional service charge, I didnt notice this at the time and only after I left the restaurant. Its hidden within the fine print at the bottom and is clearly not optional as it wasnt pointed out to myself when paying the bill. The food for the most part was of decent quality however is definitely on the steep side in all the total bill was 62.50 for 2 burgers, a soft drink each and a side of wings. You could get 2 courses at a miller and carter for a similar price. All in all not a bad experience but definitely some fine details that let this establishment down.
