Tigerlilly Nail Salon

Inna does an absolute fantastic job of my nails, she is meticulous in her work, which is why I happily drive the 36 mile round trip to the salon, she is from the Ukraine and her English conversation is pretty good, but she does get confused sometimes, she is usually on her own, on top of doing her work she tries to handle enquiries aswell, which is unfair. The reason I have given 3 stars is because the salon charges premium prices which you would expect some form of luxury or opulence, however, it is very very dusty, the floor and furnishings are filthy, the seats are hard and uncomfortable, the salon is cold, Inna put on a heater however this aggravated the dust which then kept settling on my wet nails causing Inna problems in removing the particles, this meant I was there for nearly 3hrs, the dust also got in your throat and nose. I personally feel that there should be a receptionist who could handle enquiries and clean the salon during quiet times, allowing Inna to do her job without frustration. Their website professes fab service.excellent hygiene procedures. Beverages and a warm friendly atmosphere and this is not the case. I think the owner has lost interest in the place and it shows.

They used to be great, but unfortunately the old staff is no longer there and the new girls (trainees?) dont have adequate language skills or confidence: as a result overall communication and the service suffer. As a returning client, I really would expect more from a reputable salon, especially for the price tag (I pay less for my pedicure in Mayfair). Little touches as perhaps offering the client a cup of tea, a smile, learning to use the words please and would you like etc could go a long way A bit dissapointed with overall experience, however hope this can be addressed, then will be happy to go back.

Paid almost 50 for engagement nails that chipped almost immediately, started peeling off and were painted unevenly. Whilst I was getting my nails done, the woman doing my nails was being taught how to paint them, which was unprofessional. Ive never had this issue of nails not lasting this long before so when I politely reached out on how to resolve this issue, I was met with a rude response and since then my messages have been ignored. I recommend saving your money and going to a small business as its better quality and youll be treated with more respect, as unfortunately Ive never come across such awful customer service with reading off messages and being rude. Normally I would let it pass, but having such awful quality nails for my engagement wasnt acceptable. Services: Nail designs, Gel manicures
