        "I believe in one God..." It's about 50 years since I was able to read and say that in a mass. I remember when it changed to "We believe..." I didn't particularly like it as a child. (We...? How can I profess your faith for you?) And now, much later, as I consider returning to RC faith, I feel it undermines what the RC faith was about all along - the sovereignty of the individual. Christ faced his ultimate test alone. So, if this is what 'unreformed religion' is, it is refreshing.
