Rooms: The room was a lovely size, everything you need for a short stay (or longer!) super comfy bed/pillows. Amazing walk in shower (Hempsted room), coffee, biscuits & cookies. Tv, toiletries, air con etc. decorated to a luxury standard. Food & drinks: We ate dinner one night (wish we done both) and breakfast twice. The food was amazing. Really superb! You must try some of the homemade food/booze/treats. A wonderful well stocked honesty bar that has so much more to offer than just alcohol. Noteworthy details: We loved piglets. The food was delicious. The rooms plush & very comfy. The amenities were plentiful & the host Max, Chrissie, Hamish & Harry were very welcoming. Close to some lovely towns and sight seeing locations. Try the home made goodies! We bought several home with us.

Rooms: This is not your typical bed and breakfast. The rooms were well equipped. The shower was amazing. It had everything you needed. We slept really well. Food & drinks: We only had breakfast each day because we were out. However, we did hear other guests talking about how good the evening meal was. We will definitely be having the evening meals on our next stay. Noteworthy details: The owners were very knowledgeable about the local area. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The local pubs were great.

Rooms: Lovely rooms with amazing comfy bed. Wonderful bathroom. Food & drinks: It is obvious Chrissie and Max love their food and drink. There passion for this is demonstrated by the huge breakfasts, locally sourced and beautifully presented. There is an honesty bar with every possible drink you could wish for or even treat yourself to a sneaky ice cream before bed time. Noteworthy details: Chrissie and Max are so welcoming, without being invasive in any way. Max is a minefield of info on the local area, not that you will want to leave the place as there is much here to occupy you... amazing games room, mini gym, beautiful local walks
