Booking on to Megs hypnobirthing course is without a doubt the best thing we have done on our pregnancy journey. Meg is unbelievably knowledgeable and supportive. My husband and I walked away from every session feeling empowered and excited for the birth of our baby. Meg makes you feel no question is too silly to ask - and believe me, my husband asked some corkers! We will always be grateful to Meg for turning our fear into excitement and I would recommend her to every future parents-to-be.

Initially when my partner first mentioned going on Megs course I was a bit skeptical (as most guys probably are). I thought why not whats the harm if its what my partner wanted. After the 1st session I quickly became immersed in Megs way of teaching. The information, the vibe, the genuine passion was felt instantly. Week by week I gained more excited for each session, knowing the confidence it was bringing me, especially as a young 1st time parent (24). Think theres more of a thing around guys winging the whole Birthing process and becoming a dad, which does and can work, but learning how vital of a role you can play to creating an incredible birth was empowering. Also learning about how powerful and magical woman's bodies are was mind blowing. After the course I felt ready to go into any situation equipped with knowledge and a toolkit of practical tips to enhance the birthing experience. A few weeks passed and the opportunity for Meg to be our personal doula arose. We never initially planned this but considering how close me & my partner had got with Meg and how incredible her course was we decided we would ask her. This is from my personal experience (a guy). Meg being there was reassuring for me, she allowed the space of our home birth to be protected, she knew exactly what to say and do and penetrated the room with her whole energy, she allowed me to confidently make decisions and never pushed her own opinions. She collaborated so professionally with the midwives, to create such a safe space. From feeding me (bringing McDonalds lol) to reminding me to take naps during contractions (was a long labour), guiding me with birth pool set up, supporting me emotionally, tidying house after birth, continued support post birth, visiting us post birth, bringing food, Meg was just incredible. I really could not imagine our birth without Meg. Of course you dont need a course or a doula to have a pleasant birth, and you can learn things online, just like you can have a wedding at a registry office instead of a church, but why wouldnt you want to immerse yourself in this sometimes once in a lifetime experience, and make it as worry free, magical and memorable as it can be. I will be eternally grateful for what Meg has done for me and my partner the last 9 months, she has a true passion and genuine vibe and love for what she does and its glaringly obvious, couldnt recommend her enough. Wow.

Meg is passionate, knowledgeable, compassionate, straight talking, supportive, thoughtful and just brilliant. Investing in your birth is about so much more than the event itself, it has lasting consequences, and having people like Meg involved in my preparation for birth was absolutely, totally invaluable to my birth experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. I did a hypnobirthing course and regular weekend relaxation sessions with Meg to prepare for birth. Hypnobirthing is an incredibly powerful educational programme that helps you understand how birth works and how you can work with your mind and body to make it a genuinely positive experience. It works for every type of birth and it's something everyone can benefit from, and Meg is a brilliant teacher. The sessions left me with so much confidence, and with her wealth of knowledge and positive reassurance Meg always made me feel even more empowered and prepared every time I spoke to her.

I would fully recommend Megs hypnobirthing course. Me and my partner both found it incredibly helpful in getting us ready for the various eventualities of what birth may look like for us. The course was really well structured and engaging, lots of opportunities for asking questions and the course materials gave us things to take away and reflect on. Meg is so supportive, and there were no judgements throughout on any type of birth preferences so it felt very open to ask questions in a non judgmental environment. I also attended Megs virtual relaxation sessions which gave the opportunity to talk about any issues we were facing in pregnancy, ask any questions and generally feel supported by the group. They were followed by a guided meditation which always did the trick for me, giving me time out to relax and setting me up for a good nights sleep!
