Lisa came to me by way of a recommendation by an old work collegue. I cannot recommend her services highly enough. She was very patient, kind and made me feel very comfortable throughout our sessions, particularly when the going got tough. She is very knowledgable in her field of expertise and her passion for this and her clients shows through in every session I had over the course of the 3 months we worked together. Lisa and I worked together for just under a year to improve my overall mental health. I came to Lisa very lost and in a difficult place, struggling with health anxiety, depression, trauma, and a multitude of other issues that impacted my ability to enjoy life. Lisa and I very recently stopped our sessions as I am now in a completely different place. Lisas approach to mental health is revolutionary. I have been in and out of 'mental health services' since I was very young, and I was in a cycle of being treated, feeling ok for a bit, and then tumbling back down. I was always waiting for the anxiety or depression to return. My whole life I had felt a victim to my trauma, but through my learnings from Lisa I have found a balance of having compassion for myself, ways to process my emotions and connect, but also taking control of my life whilst changing my entire view of myself. Within our sessions Lisa focused on my language, which challenged my thinking greatly. I now have a much more nuanced and intelligent view of my language into my emotions, how I communicate them and how I respond to them. Lisa also incorporated learnings from neuroscience which were incredibly effective for me. Lisa is very attentive and shared so much knowledge and resources with me that I can still utilise despite our sessions being finished. Nothing ever felt unmanageable with Lisa, as she helped me incorporate tools and techniques into my life to enable me to manage all challenges. I now meditate, practice yoga, and incorporate gratitude and affirmations into my (mostly) every day. What I really appreciate about Lisa is how she taught me that we are all flowing up and down, and its natural to prioritise and de-prioritise what we need to feel good, however now if I have a few off days, I get back on. I just feel balanced now. I now love myself and the person I have become since working with Lisa, it who I was always meant to be with no longer living in fear of my emotions. I couldnt recommend her enough, she is a warm and welcoming individual, who is highly knowledgeable and wise. I just cant believe the shell of myself that I was only a year ago, to the joyful, happy, loving, driven and positive person I am now. I feel very excited for this next chapter in my life, thank you Lisa!

I approached Lisa as I was starting to get better from 6 years of chronic illness. During this time my life had become incapacitated. Through stress and overwhelm I experienced a chronic life changing physical breakdown of my body, affecting my central nervous system and endocrine system. At the time I reached out I was improving in my physical health, although still experiencing several symptoms and poor mental health that restricted my life. I wasnt depressed, I was unable to feel low mood. Lisa taught me how to accept feelings that are valid. I was feeling complete despair. At the point I contacted Lisa I had low confidence, had lost my identity, grieved for the person I had lost and very much felt a victim of my trauma. I had physical pains and still experienced significant issues with my nervous system. I felt I needed treatment from a mind and body perspective, someone who was an expert, highly trained and understood the journey I had been on. I always felt there was one crucial member of my medical team missing. Someone who would work on the combined psychological and physical approach, rather than solely the organic side. Looking back now I wish I had Lisas involvement alongside my Neurologist and other expert consultants in various fields, at a much earlier stage. My Neurologist has since asked me how I have come on so far. That has been down to my mindset and ultimately the work Lisa has done with me. I believe I may have come through the other side much quicker if I had worked with Lisa sooner. Without a shadow of doubt Lisas guidance and sessions have given me a second chance at life. Lisa is not only an expert practitioner but a wonderful, friendly, and caring person who put me at ease the whole time. I highly recommend her services and I wish you well on your journeys.
