Been referred to them by an estate agent, but theyre the worst solicitor firm Ive ever dealt with! 0 communication. Nobody is ever available when I call, they wont call back and wont reply to emails. The delays theyre causing are costing me thousands already and about to lose a sale! Avoid them!

This firm was recommended by a well known state agent for the sale of my property.for more than 2 months and after many telephone calls, emails from myself ,Estate agent and buyers solicitors there has been no contact from this firm at all.after insisting to talk to top man I was put through to Mr Kevin Richardson who explained yhey are to busy and he will take care of this himself . After 2 weeks of no contact I have wrote a complain letter to Mr Kevin Richardson with yet no response to this date. The state agent has emailed several times also with no response .

New to the area and rang Richardson Law today to discuss 2 x deed of variations, 1 x property purchase and a guarantor agreement for a company loan. Call lasted 32 seconds including my introduction, apparently they aren't taking any new clients.

Extremely extremely POOR! Do not use this firm of solicitors. I wish (everyone says it) I had paid heed to the other reviews out there before instructing Richardson law. Their lack of action nearly cost me a sale AND a purchase. The crunch point is that their communication is abysmal - nearly absent altogether. Detail: The first time I called seeking a new instruction I got straight through to the owner/senior solicitor Kevin Richardson. We had FOUR pieces of conveyancing work to undertake with his firm - an incentive for good service one would think. On this first call he was positive and promising fast response rates, optimal pricing and a knowledgeable service etc. None of this came to be for us. After that first call it was nigh impossible to speak to anyone other than the receptionist. Even then there was no full time receptionist and often the phone was answered by the paralegal member of staff or went to ansafone. The level of professionalism and courtesy, even in answering the telephone, was low. I could not get to speak to any solicitor. I received no email responses from Kevin Richardson when I wrote to complain on more than one occasion. Pally Davies, the junior solicitor who was allocated 3 of our files with this firm called us just twice in response to repeated enquiries. Once was after 7pm in the evening. I met with this same solicitor once, again, after my repeated request to understand where things were up to with a purchase. She sent the papers(reams of!) by email literally 20 minutes before our appointment time - completely insufficient time to read them. The very first email I received from Pally Davies following my instruction to act for me stated in RED font that the customer was not to call or email and that she would get back to us usually within 3 days (yes three days!!) of making any enquiry to her. I received this rote standard blocking reply as the norm thereafter. Their idea of updating the customer was to send an email - "see the attached" with a swathe of attached paperwork that had been issued/exchanged with other parties. There was never any legal advice or interpretation just copies of paperwork. The whole service was extremely poor and unprofessional. Kevin Richardson's service (who pledged to undertake a purchase for my son - my son's matter being intrinsically and pivotally linked to the sale of the family home and hence the progress of all 4 parts of the buying/selling business we had with Richardsons) was just appalling. He made NO contact over this particular purchase for my son for the first NINE weeks of our engagement with the firm - no searches applied for etc. This has caused huge problems for us later down the line. He allegedly is an expert in rural property/agricultural land matters and yet the relevant matter of an overage which threw up some difficult issues subsequently, was not raised at all. When I confronted the firm to say that due to a shockingly poor level of communication and action, I was disinstructing them they tried to persuade us to stay. Ridiculously, in retrospect, on my part I briefly bought in to that . But again nothing changed & we were further let down & telephone appointments were not honoured etc. In trying to address this we verbally received disparaging comments from a member of the team directed at us about our demeanour/intentions/actions in our dealings. The excuses given for why they failed to call for pre-arranged telephone discussions etc, or follow through at ANY level were inconsistent & changed. A solitary thin apology was eventually offered by proxy via an email from his junior colleague - insufficient, inappropriate & unprofessional. In desperation I moved our business (all 4 parts ) to different solicitors after 10 weeks at SIGNIFICANT (Ks) extra cost. I could write reams about how poor this firm were in dealing with our business. I hope this short submission gives a flavour. There is too much detail from my negative experience to possibly include in this review. In summary, avoid undertaking any business with this company.
