My first experience when buying my first house nearly 10 years ago with JBGass was very good. However my more recent transactions with them have unfortunately been poor. The lack of communication and not being pro-active at all caused delays and I believe the delays could have been even more significant if I hadn't pushed for progress. As a customer, the feeling is that either the solicitor I was dealing with has too much workload on to provide a reasonable service, or that they don't care. I wouldn't recommend using if you want a decent turn-around.

Generally I asked them to do a house transfer to my stepson and it took much longer than expected to say there was no mortgage and didn't really need searches as it was family, also got charged for information which I already knew until just before the transfer when it was too late really. All done on emails. Had used this company before for my will and that went very smoothly and quickly., but won't be using again.

I used JBGass as my conveyancer for my purchase of a property. I was served by Luke Rampley and James Latham. I feel grateful for their professionalism and efficiency to deal with various legal paperworks during the long process. Their involvement was definitely a key factor to facilitate the process. JBGass is highly recommended.
