Every time we come back home from our wonderful house here near Volterra I mean to message you to say that we absolutely love it and so do all our friends and family! It is such a wonderful spot and we cant thank you enough for steering us in the right direction. We cant quite believe it is ours really. We have been here 4 or 5 times now and we just love it. Stefano and his wife look after it all beautifully for us and we are trying hard to learn Italian so we can converse with them better! Google translate is a godsend though! We are out here now but returning home tomorrow. The weather is fabulous here at the moment so it will be hard to leave. I hope you have been busy selling more lovely Tuscan homes.

I have appreciated Linda Travella's expertise and assistance throughout my recent purchase of a condo in southern Italy. Due to logistic issues, geographic distance, and the pandemic, it was challenging to submit all of the required documents from all parties concerned. However, Linda patiently kept the process on track and provided the advice and reassurance needed. Linda's quick and timely communication made the whole process a lot easier. Thank you!

Terrible. My advice is to stay well away. All that glitters etc. They will tell you they have agents in Italy. This is a lie. They do not employ agents or associates in Italy. Casa Travella work from a bungalow in Kent they dont even have an office. The so called our agents represent the vendor not you or Travella. Its a not so clever con. When a sale is made those agent receive 3% of the sale price and Travella receives 3%. Only in Italy!. If it all goes wrong, and it probably will, you wont be able to sue them in a UK court. The legal jurisdiction will be in Italy not in UK. Check out the Italian legal system !! it takes 10 years on average to hear any sort of case. Dont forget brexit, 90 days max in Italy.

Hi Linda, May I start by saying a huge thank you! You have been amazing in the recent purchase of our apartment in our beloved Calabria, Italy. Especially during this unprecedented times of the Pandemic. My husband and I have spent lots of fantastic holidays in Tropea, Southern Italy over many years, so the option to buy our own 2nd home has always been at the back of our minds. One Sunday morning we were browsing the website just out of curiosity, with no real plans to purchase at that time. However, we found the most wonderful apartment advertised , in our preferred location that we had dreamed of. From contacting you Linda late November 2020, we are so happy to say we exchanged contracts early March 2021, yes, within 5 months from offer to completion, and also through a Pandemic! We live in the UK so we knew we could not travel to sign documentation etc. but Linda supported us and helped us along the way with recommendations on Italian Notary and suggestions of UK Notary and all legalities, I am happy to say it was very painless and fast process. We are so happy with our 2nd home and look forward to spending lots of time there when safe to do so. We couldn't have done this without your expertise, you were amazing Linda, and we will thoroughly recommend you to anyone who is considering purchasing a 2nd or permanent home in Italy but are maybe unsure of how to do this.
