Jamestown Cottage

We had a lovely few days here. Things were a little more rustic than expected from the photos and a shame areas of the cottage were tired and in need of updating. The owners were very friendly and helpful, but felt they could of kept the path through their garden to the cottage free from their dogs poo and the fallen apples were a real hazard. There were signs regarding the apples but should of been easily picked up daily to prevent visitors falling. Although the owners assured us the hot tub filters had been changed before arrival, we found on inspection the rim of the water had scum around it and the bottom of the tub wasn't clean. We did find that this spoilt the holiday for us and only went in twice during our stay due to not feeling happy with the condition. The lights were broken and the lid was extremely un hygienic.

This little cottage is kept in an amazing condition. Frank and Pat are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately our week was cold and wet but we still did a lot and when we visit Lincolnshire again, we will make Jamestown Cottage our base
