This is our third visit to the Cottage and the standard has not dropped The room is excellent comfortable,clean and warm.Breakfast is served in the Dragon next door and is cooked to order and is excellent with a large range to choose from. Staff are efficient, helpful and friendly all in all I would recommend this place to anyone

The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Spacious shower room though the shower tray struggled at times to cope with the water from the shower. There are bus stops close by to travel around the area and a lovel canal walk. The rooms are part of the Dragon restaurant/pub, if you want breakfast or other meals, you arrange this yourself. The breakfast and meals were a little pricey, tgey had good reviews but we didn't eat there. I think a reduced breakfast offer should be made to anyone staying in the rooms. We went to the BusyBees Breakfast/Tea Room, just round the corner. The food was excellent and more reasonably priced. We also had a tasty, reasonably priced evening meal in The Green Man, across the road. Tea bags, coffee sachets and long life milk left in the room. We only had 1 breakfast tea bag left the first day with 3 Earl Grey, we didn't use the Earl Grey yet the next day more Earl Grey teabags left and only 2 breakfast teabags. We bought tea bags to use in the room. The front door key also opened our room key, my husband was worried that other room keys were the same and would be able to access our room. I suggested he checked with the reception area in the Dragon restaurant/pub, he didn't and our room appeared to be safe. I can recommend the rooms themselves for comfort, cleanliness and convenience.
