My girls have come on leaps and bounds since riding weekly with Mark. Cannot fault the place (just wish it was closer to Consett)

Not a good experience at all. My daughter has been riding at the school for sometime. She had a really bad fall where an older horse jumped and fell resulting in her nearly been fallen on. It shocked the instructor and everyone watching, enough for the school to say they were not going to use that particular horse again. A couple of weeks later that horse was being used again. The children's welfare surely isn't being thought of in a responsible way? It is obvious that the horse isn't fit for jumping. Also a couple of weeks ago there was a family emergency whereby I couldn't take my daughter. Anita, the owner, insisted that I pay as I didn't give her 24hours notice. I'm not too sure how I'm supposed to give 24 hours noticed for a heart attack to happen? I explained that it was an emergency but when I rang an hour before the lesson to explain our unfortunate circumstances, they don't offer any condolences but quickly said that we will still have to pay for the lesson. Surely, in such circumstances this could be wavered? When we went for our next lesson, my daughter was purposefully missed off the list which quickly caused her to be upset. After once again explaining the reasoning behind us cancelling at short notice she again didn't offer any support or understanding but only mentioned the money. I am not paying for a lesson my daughter hasn't had. In my opinion this lady is rude, greedy and shows no connections with her customer's. It concluded where she said we could no longer do 'business' with her. In my opinion, stay away at all costs.. Things will be great whilst you are paying her money but as soon as something comes up, she doesn't want to know.
