A beautiful 12th/13th century Grade 1 listed church with some amazing medieval Wall paintings . St Etheldreda pops up here again this time with her sister St Sexburga in a 13th century painting . Another Wall painting of the Saints Christopher and George dates to the 14th century . Thank god we have highly skilled conservationists who work very hard to preserve such treasures for future generations to enjoy . The building externally is a most picturesque scene with a massive graveyard . I particularly liked the carved angels on the ceiling and the alter to . Well worth a visit if ever in the area .

Beautiful roof with gives the sense of the heavens above being filled with tiers of angels. There's quite a few wall paintings too and some painted wooden screens. Free parking was available immediately outside on the road.
