The experience was amazing. My engineer Greg was really amazing, really knows what he is doing and made me feel comfortable, he was encouraging and helped me overcome my emotions because it was the first time I went to a studio to record a song. The recorded song came out really cool, now everyone wants me to make this my new career lol. Thank you everyone and I would love to come back for another experience soon

Overall - disappointing I'm afraid. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone before we went. The engineer was a little late for our session and then took about 20-25 minutes to set up the studio, so by the time we started we had been waiting around for over half an hour. The website promised: "You'll not only get the full studio tour, but your dedicated sound engineer will offer one-to-one support with your technique to get the best performance." I'm afraid we had nothing of the sort- there was no tour and certainly no support with singing technique. After we had sung we sat and waited for another 20-30 minutes while the engineer did the mixing. Disappointingly, there was no explanation at all of what he was doing. Lastly, hygiene: the toilets were absolutely filthy (as in they had not been cleaned properly for weeks/months) and I got a spot on my ear the next day (!) which I believe resulted from dirty headphones. All in all, whilst we did have some fun with the singing, this experience should have been so much better.

I was at the Star Factory for my friend's hen do last weekend. It was so much fun, I'm still smiling about our rendition of Brand New Combine Harvester - comedy gold! The party host was incredible, full of energy and ideas and even the studio engineer was joining in. We felt so welcome, couldn't have asked for a better start to the hen do. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for something that's a great laugh and really unique. Thanks Becky & Ian for an amazing day!

The Star Factory welcomed my daughter and her friends for her 11th birthday party. The host was brilliant with the children, setting their minds at ease and helping the less confident children to participate as well as challenging the more assertive children to explore their vocal capabilities. The resulting CD's were incredibly well mixed and made the most of the girls voices. The studio was fresh and clean and the facilities were lovely. I would recommend The Star Factory to anyone whose child has a love of music and singing.
