A pipe was probably broken when I went there a few days ago. The smell was horrible, I tried many times to forget about it, but you know, I had my nails done with Stephanie, which was BRILLIANT. Omg she's amazing, and I hope to go there again, hopefully without any unpleasant smell. Easy to go by jubilee line, just a quick walk from Willesden Green St.

First of all, I got a really lovely haircut here! I want to emphasise that before I speak about my nail experience. So I requested a layered hairstyle after 6 months without visiting a hair dresser. I asked for some product to give stronger and more hold and volume. I believe there was a misunderstanding, u didn't receive any product but still a nice bounce and shine on my hair. When I made the appointment on the phone and asked for nail services, I was advised to call vanda. From my understanding she is a self employed technician renting a room in the basement of the salon. I first couldn't reach her on the telephone and left a sms. From this message she didn't seem to understand my request- a gel infill. This became clear when I called again. I was given the 5pm slot today (friday) I arrived and was sent downstairs were I asked for Vanda. But nobody pointed to the person. So I sat down and waited. Women walked by and smiled there was some chatter going on and one clients nails still being treated. A se one Lady sat down, she pre iously smiled at me, she sat down to provide a pedicure to the same client who was also receiving a manicure. I waited 30 min. Another lady came in and said "Vanda, ... " and told her story. Now I knew who Vanda was, she was the woman who walked by, smiled at me , sat down to give a pedicure. I interrupted the conversation, and informed vanda, that we had an appointment 30 min ago. She asked me for what, I said for nails. She apologised and asked for one more moment. I waited 10 more minutes. After 40 m altogether, I got up and left. What a waste of time. I informed the owner upstairs... u know, waiting times can happen but a) do I not expect to wait 40 minutes beyond an arranged appointment and b) could she have been more professional when seeing me on their sofa, she could have asked if I am here fore an appointment, she could have introduced herself, but nobody did With all nail studios being packed tonight, I will habe to try and find one tomorrow.
