A beautiful and quaint cottage, owned and run the wonderful host Richard. Nestled amongst the buzzing honeybees he keeps, Richard provides you with a welcome pot of tea/coffee and a vast knowledge of the local area to help you with your visit. The room and bathroom are extremely clean and tidy. Towels; tea/coffee; hairdryer; drawers; wi-fi are all available, along with a lovely, snuggly duvet on the comfortable bed. The bedroom window looks out to the beautiful meadow-like garden. Breakfast time is flexible and is absolutely delicious 100% homecooked and the full works - cereal, full fry-up, thick sliced toast and some Richard's own honey. It is served piping hot in the living/dining room, which has a beautiful inglenook fireplace. We will definitely be returning to stay with Richard again. I would certainly recommend staying at the Chestnut Cottage.
