Campion Cottage - Holiday Cottage

A very well presented, warm and cosy hideaway in a lovely Cotswold village. The cottage is well-equipped with lots of helpful and clear instructions on how to use things. The wood-burner and tasteful seasonal decorations added to being there over Xmas. Great location in what feels like an authentic Cotswold village with the more touristy Broadway nearby. One highlight of the trip was a meal at the superb Broadway Hotel in Broadway - taken there by Broadway Taxis and a 30 minute walk back. There are also two pubs in Willersey. Lovely. Many thanks.

Fabulous holiday cottage and probably the best we have ever stayed in with lots of little luxuries with all of the necessary home comforts. The owner Alan and housekeeper Lucy are a dream to deal with to add to an all round perfect experience. Such a comfortable few days in a wonderful home in an idyllic setting - couldn't be bettered !

Beautiful cottage, very scary experience! Avoid at all costs. Great location completely ruined by intimidating next door neighbour (employed by owner as gardener). The 2 gardens are connected with a gate between- with no warning or notice, the neighbour burst through the unlocked gate into the property to confront our family about a noise complaint (4 person bbq at 3pm Saturday). Was extremely aggressive and shouting. Came in twice against our will, told us he has the right to enter as he is the gardener. We threatened Police action and he left. We left for the afternoon to get out of the cottage for a few hours- when we returned, he had watered all plants in the property just to show he had been there... very scary and unsettling. My mum phoned the owner after being shouted at- he appeared to be sympathetic on phone & agreed verbally to refund if we were uncomfortable with situation. When we did vacate a day early on Sunday as feeling intimidated- he then refused refund or to enter into discussions saying the man next door had nothing to do with him... Gardener/bin mover or not?? Owner side stepped the whole issue. Profit before guests experience. Ruined family reunion & parents 35th anniversary- a real shame.
