Poor food

Terrible place, avoid! visited keymaster with my wife on Saturday 29/04/23 for a bite to eat. We had booked a table and on entering the pub waited to be seated. after a couple of minutes we decided to find out own table as non of the staff seemed interested. we order a Texas burger and a cheese burger and a couple of drinks, this took ages as there we only 2 staff serving and a big queue waiting. when the food finally arrived it looked terrible, small portion of chips, hardly and salad and the burger had departed company with the bun! when started to eat it be came apparent that the buns were stale so i removed the top and saw what i thought was a human hair. At this point i fetched a member of staff who eventually fetched the manager. instead of taking the burger away to have a look she started to tell me (infront of other customers) that it was cheese, eventually we both came to the conclusion that it was a piece of plastic that she pulled apart with inch long figure nails, yuck. she then offered me a new burger or a refund. i agreed to a refund so she left the food on the table and walked off. she then returned to advise we will have to wait for a refund as we paid with a voucher and someone would contact us ( still waiting for that) then she was gone leaving us with the remains of our burgers sill left on the table. Have never been in a place like it!

Very shocking being assaulted by a member of staff elliiot think he needs re training or sacking horrible attitude when walked in and accusing small children of all sorts spoke to chris the manager and he didnt want to recognise any sort of behaviour had happerned will not be going back there as have 3 very upset children will be taking further so the pond life have some sort of punishment

Absolutely amazing service staff are so polite Ellie was our server she was very help full and polite too speak too 10/10
