I have used this accounting firm over the last three years and experienced no problems. This year, however, I noticed many errors being made on my Tax Return. When I pointed this out (as we're supposed to do in the review stage), the response I received was irritable, extremely unprofessional and enraged. It is within every client's right to point out important errors made on their Tax Return. It's not only our right: it's our obligation. We are under oath when we sign that Tax Return. The responsibility for accuracy lies with both parties. When reviewing your Tax Return, you want to trust that there are no errors and you want to trust that your accountant pays attention to detail and is accurate. This was not my experience with Wirral Accounting Solutions. When I informed Laura that I agreed with her suggestion in me finding another accountant, she promptly responded with the following: "You're the rudest customer I have ever met in my life. Good luck to your new accountant, he's going to need it." All of this rage for simply pointing out to her that she is making important errors on my Tax Return. I understand human error. A professional accountant would simply apologise and correct accordingly.
