Excellent coffee, excellent customer service, my pod order was slightly wrong and they sorted in within 24hr and included a free pack, postcards and stickers with the replacement. My favourite is the "truth", just the best coffee I have tasted in a long time takeaway or at home. Also love that the pods are 100% recyclable. Brilliant

I'm probably far less discerning than I like to think, but I am fussy about my coffee and settled a few years back on my favourite roasters (let's just say SMCR) after making enquiries following a delicious flat white in York on holiday. I flirted with other companies in search of more affordable luxury but always returned as the quality was never quite there....until I came across local company Roastworks. My first accidental encounter was to meet the entire team (albeit fleetingly) when I blundered into their business unit to ask for a quick espresso! I subsequently found more appropriate methods to sample their beans and was converted on the spot. They are now my roaster of choice. I love the emotional connection they express with their roasting apparatus and the service, communication, packaging, pricing etc. have all been first rate. My only reservation in recommending them is that they might get too popular (as they assuredly will).
