Thatch & Roses

It was a no brainer working within the wedding industry myself that we would have Emily of Thatch & Roses do our flower design for the big day. Knowing a lot of industry friends it was important I didnt steam roller in so we set up a consultation via zoom more so Scott could virtually meet Emily and hear the processes. Our in person meet up at the studio was amazing and really helped visualise what the team had in store. I had and still have full trust and admiration for the creative genius in these women. We rolled with the teams bespoke floral design and really left the vision to them and wow! Thatch & Roses went above and beyond with expectations and the bar was already pretty high. The detail and care that goes into everything floral and styling is second to none and made seem less by their clear communication and understanding nature. We can both say that our wedding will have been the first of many weddings to come at Hengrave where the ceremony setting was transformed with originality and class - love love love! Eternally grateful

I attended a wreath making workshop with the girls at Thatch & Roses and it was the best workshop Ive ever been to. Sarah was incredibly knowledgable and we came away with the most beautiful wreath. The equipment given was so plentiful, so much fresh foliage to choose from in so many different varieties. You could make so many different wreaths from their collection. We started right from the beginning with our wire hoop and learnt how to pack the base with fresh moss, which was really fun. We then went onto adding the spruce, again the materials were so plentiful which enabled all of us to use as much or as little as we wanted. Then came the fun bits, options from dried oranges, to cinnamon sticks, to pine cones to gorgeous velvet ribbon. We were in a lovely intimate group of 7 and Sarah could easily get round to all of us if we needed extra help. Sarah explained each step so well and made us feel so welcomed. Fresh mince pieces, chocolates and mulled wine was provided, along with fun Christmas songs. We had the best time and have taken away the most gorgeous hand made wreaths. Over the moon and will be coming back every year!
