I had two desks that were unfinished by a previous woodworker. The craftsmanship was extremely poor and I was very disappointed with them. I contacted Matthew Castle and, while it took a while for my turn to come up, it was definitely worth the wait. He was able to totally rework the desks, and finish them off beautifully. He listened to all of my desires for the finished desks and worked in lovely details. They are gorgeous and I absolutely love them. Our family will be using these two desks for years to come. Thank you, Matthew, for saving these desks and making them both beautiful and functional!

Excellent after sales service. There were problems with the double glazed units supplied to Matthew, he contacted supplier and obtained replacements which he fitted excellently and carefully. Highly recommend him.

Matt made us two matching oak side tables which were delighted with. He painstakingly built two prototypes, made from MDF/pine, which were a key part of getting the design right. I completely changed my mind about what I wanted, due to Matts support of my somewhat rubbish ideas before he helped, through his honesty and superior design skills, to suggest something much better. His passion for what he does is lovely and makes the experience of having furniture made for yourself a truly rewarding experience.
