We were staying in Silloth over the Easter Hols and our dog managed to tear his shoulder open, needing stitches. Belle Vue were brilliant and took us in straight away even though we weren't previously registered with them. They had our dog stitched up and ready to go within a couple of hours, and his wound has healed really well - we just took the stiches out and there's barely any scarring. I wish we were local so that we could use them as our regular vet! Thank you for taking such good care of our boy

Have been there several times with my pet chickens. Get conflicting advice and dosages each time for the same condition. Doesnt bode well with having any confidence in them. Also took an found abandoned cat there and they checked it over and said it was fine, despite it being quite listless. A friend adopted the cat and after two days got it checked by someone else who said it had feline leukaemia which was probably why it was abandoned. The cat had to be put asleep after treatment which was distressing for the new owner. Belle view vets didnt spot it despite someone else not very trained recognising it easily. When I pointed this out to them, they didnt seem bothered at all, as theyd made money from selling us cat food, telling us that that was what was wrong with the cat. Cant honestly recommend and am looking at another vets now.
