What an incredible place. Is there anywhere else like it? Maybe, but we certainly haven't found anything that quite hits the same alluring combination of relaxed solitude, luxury, and quality, delivered with such taste and sympathy. It's this "best of both worlds", all rendered with a loving attention to detail that has drawn us back to Cruckbarn, time after time after time. Whether it's chilling by the firepit, striking out early for Church Stretton, inventing "inspired by..." sports activities in the neighbouring field, or fortifying ourselves with toasted marshmallows before a spooky night hike, there's a magic to the place that's established Cruckbarn as one of our go-to retreats at any time of the year. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to stay, we have spent many happy hours around the campfire and chilling in the hammock. Has a special aura about it, I guess because of the love and attention that was paid into building the place from locally sourced oak trees. The attention to detail is just wonderful right down to the OS map of the area as a coffee table made out of a wooden pallet. Have returned numerous times and am almost reluctant to post this review as I want to keep going back!

We love staying at Cruckbarn. It's the perfect place to get away from everything, without being so far way you can't get down the pub or have a takeaway. The barn is warm, welcoming and homely and the views are stunning whatever time of day it is. There's plenty of wildlife to watch from deer to bats. Definitely recommend staying here...just so long as we can still book our stays!

Immerse yourself in the wonder that is Cruckbarn! It has a wonderful story to tell. Crafted by its talented owner in the most idyllic woodland with far reaching views. Every detail has been thought of to provide you with a truly relaxing stay. Every window has a wonderful view and somehow feels like the most decedent hide to watch birds, rabbits and deer nearby, If you want peace, nature, to step off the planet for a while, this is the place to come and like us return time after time. How wonderful that Cruckbarn is now part of our story too.

Cruckbarn is a very special place. A beautiful barn with all the little luxuries you need to get away from busy life! Days spent walking in the private woodland, sitting by the fire (inside and out) or just watching the ever changing skies. There is no TV but a great sound system. The kitchen has everything you need and if you do want to venture back in to society then there are nice pubs and great towns not far away. A place to slow down and unwind!
