A Brecks Away Holiday Cottages @ Brecks Farm

We had a lovely stay in The Parlour, the cottage was so clean and had such a homely feel, especially with the log burner which we loved using for a cosy night in one of the evenings. Its also in a great location in the countryside yet still close to a big shopping park and only a 10 minute drive into York city centre. Everything was really well thought out and very dog friendly - loved the dog wash station and doggie hamper! We also enjoyed the fresh bread, eggs and apple juice that were kindly left for us. Thank you for everything and we will definitely be back if we are visiting the area again!

We have just returned from a lovely break, staying at the Mill. We dont usually write reviews but feel Guy and the team definitely deserve this. We had a family wedding over the weekend at the neighbouring Salix Yurts. Leaving the youngsters to enjoy their Pods we were able to base ourselves at the calm oasis of The Mill. The accommodation was excellent, beds comfortable and we couldnt fault anything. Guy went out of his way to provide help to ensure our break was pressure free and relaxing enabling us to concentrate on the wedding when we needed and completely switch off and enjoy a short break at the same time. Myself and family had a 3 night break and we stayed in the Mill. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and beautifully presented, not a detail was spared in terms of what we would need, even down to a cordless dyson for a quick hoover up from messy children and our dog. Lovely little touches like milk and coffee were supplied. And a tv in each bedroom! Which my children were particularly impressed with. Although we didnt use the outdoor space it was nice to be able to walk the dog around near the pond and have garden furniture if we did want to eat outside. The furniture and beds were all extremely comfy, plenty of kitchen utensils and more than enough fresh towels. Best air bnb we have stayed in! And we have stayed in a fair few from small cottages to luxurious 10 bed houses! This little cottage just ticked every box. Sometimes its the little details that can be overlooked but I can honestly say not a single thing could be faulted. We would absolutely stay again! Thank you Guy and Tracey.

A fantastic holiday destination. The accommodation is finished to an exceptional standard with amazing attention to detail. We stayed in The Parlour which was perfect for us as a couple and our dog who had a little hamper waiting on her arrival. The setting is stunning and peaceful making it the perfect getaway location. Perfect location for exploring York and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend and like to return.

We stayed in the Parlour and was blown away by the attention to details and the high standard/spec of the lodge. Couldn't fault anything. Was so comfortable and all home amenities, would highly recommend. Guy was a great host, definitely make this your accommodation when staying in York. Great job, keep up the great work.
