Big buddhas was amazing. I had the katsu chickn burger and the pulled pork loaded fries amazing staff and I got a free cupcake!

I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but I do like good food. And this is AMAZING food! I've had one meal and it will now be my 'go to' place whenever I feel like a treat. Flawless!!

Located around 100 metres from Wallgate railway bridge, in the middle of the Great George Street industrial estate, this quirky little take away is offering veggie and vegan options of kebabs and burgers. Do be careful to mention you are vegan. (I do not crystal clear what is and is not vegan.) service was quick. A little quirky with front of house manners. Felt we was almost intruding, rather than be new possibly regular customers! The food was good. Tasty. Chips a bit disappointing for 5. But overall, thought the main burgers and kebabs very worthy.

Exactly what Wigan has needed, a vegetarian/vegan takeaway that does all the things you miss or just can't find does it right anywhere else. We got the blag lamb kebab, standard "chickn"burger, katsu fries and truffle fries. Huge burger and kebab, great portions and plenty of toppings on the fries. Everything had so much flavour and was super fresh. The kebab could fool anyone into thinking it was the real thing! Will 100% be working through the rest of the menu and absolutely cannot wait to see what they can come up with next. The staff are really friendly, and got a warm welcome and lots of thanks for giving them custom. If you're vegetarian, vegan or just want to give something new a go, then definitely give Big Buddhas a try, you won't be disappointed!
