Actually bought an ex rental VW California off them - I dealt initially with the Blackburn branch. They were woefully unprofessional in terms of taking payment and completing checks/ MOT and servicing that they had already agreed to. So much so, that when we came to collect there was a nail in the tyre and other issues which should have led to an MOT failure, despite brandishing an MOT certificate for the day before. It took months but eventually we were reimbursed for some costs, but then radio silence. Ive given the company months to respond but they have failed to, hence a scathing review. I would not recommend them - they dont look after their vehicles or customers.

Bought an ex hire, Blackburn staff have a very high turnaround and dont often reply, purchased it from them. Found quite a lot of faults with it, appears it has had previous damage I wasnt told about, which would have resulted in me not purchasing the vehicle, the various damage had been badly covered up with some very unsightly filling, looks really bad, which is now revealing cracks underneath it which had been badly concealed, which will get worse and may lead to damp. I will await my response from Wigan and have reported it to trading standards as its not satisfactory at all. If the vehicle has had any form of accident which must have caused the cracks, I should have been informed. It was a nightmare getting the documents from them too, lots of unfulfilled promises, which documents were eventually received. The awning light should have been part of the electrical checks, it has never worked. There have been various other issues too-even finding a small hole in the back/bunk in the side of the van, my son and I saw clearly, where day light came in, I had to fill it- really not satisfactory at all. The MH appears full of fillers exterior top to bottom rather than smooth joined exterior panels, as it would have been from the manufacturer. Which is of great concern, particularly as I paid approximately the same for a 3 year mh as it would have cost them new. I also contacted Blackburn about the awning light not working several weeks ago, no call returned as promised.
