Its such a shame they keep closing down these historic venues. It was amazing to go on a Sunday and see these (largest of their type steam engines in the world) running, with huge con rods buzzing around. The 8 meter high pulley wheel is also very impressive. Not forgetting the legendary Bill of the Mill.

Went along today as it was a "Steaming Sunday". Paid 4 enterance fee and 2 for my 4 year old grandson. Bill, gave us a talk on some of the mill machines that are in this little museum. We ended up getting a detailed history of the life working in the cotton mill, the journey of the cotton and how it moved through the mill.
