Its 2016 and it saddens me to see a school where its teachers are Racist. This school is a school for troubled children who are on social security contracts where Taxi drivers drop off and collect the children on a daily basis. From my experience and as a private hire driver since 1998 having worked for the same company who has had the contract to drop off and collect these children. When I started my employment there were on 2 Asian/Brown drivers who worked for the same company as I did. Mainly white drivers were dropping off and collecting these children. The attitude mannerisms and general demeanour of the staff towards these white drivers was nothing but hospitable. From my recent experience what I saw was incredibly disgusting and could only be deemed RACIST. What I witnesses was, where I had previously seen the staff of this centre escorting the children out to the drivers, asking the drivers who they were here for then putting them in the cars and making sure they were strapped in safely. What I saw was a member of staff at the door, looking at a taxi, making no attempt to contact the driver then going back inside for about 20 seconds then coming back outside again and repeating the process. I watched this for about 5-7 minutes then the member of staff changed and started doing the same. The driver at this point who was as puzzled as I was to what was going on got out of his car and approached the member of staff. Then after some sort of moderate conversion was given a child that he directed to his car and drove off. Later I asked the driver what was all that about who told me "when it was white drivers doing these contracts they were so nice bringing the children out handing them over talking to the drivers so politely, now the staff are so abrupt and they have told us we need to get out of the cars go over and ask for the child. Now looking at this objectively it could be argued that the well there may have been a change in policy? Maybe but seeing what I witnesses it stinks of Racism. CRYPIC RACISM To say these members of staff/Teachers "look after children" I'd hate to be a "brown child in their care. Its 2016 its just simply Disgraceful!
