So impressed with this company the whole experience was so amazing. No hard sell lots of great advice even about buying and storing wood and how to make a great fire. Never felt rushed showroom staff so informative. Communication brilliant updated constantly on delivery and Installation went off with out a hitch fitters so good Professional friendly, no mess and gave loads of really helpful information and tips. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I paid 1,500 for this new fire (inc fitting) couldn't fault the fitter's work, but it was only a few days later when I turned on the downlights that I noticed all around the marble edging, it was chipped, when I phoned the store, they said they'd get the fitter to call, but I soon told them it wasn't his fault, it appeared to be a manufacturer's fault as it looked like all the chipped areas had just been laquered over, my complaint didn't seem to be welcomed with concern, the shop attitude needs a bit of work. I was phoned by the fitter though later on that day, but I again explained to him that it wasn't his doing, but he was left to look into it and he called me back again a couple of days later to tell me as this is how the fire is supposed to look, as the one in the showroom is in the same state, I've yet to call in the store and check this out, as I must have missed that when I first saw and selected it, if that's the case, then I'll get my coat, if it isn't, I'll be adding more to this review later. UPDATE :- The man in charge took the time out to call at my house and check out the fireplace for himself, he again explained that this is how it is, and it is unavoidable with this type of material. I appreciate his efforts to put my mind at ease, and now see things in a different light (excuse the pun) I guess it's more of a feature than a defect.

I do not normally leave reviews but we have not had a good experience from initially going into the shop to the finish of work with this company. We have had lots of family and friends ask about the fire and we advised them all the same, have one fitted we love ours but choose wisely where you buy it from. Apologies if my genuine review has caused any confusion through lack of details. I did express my concerns to you personally on your visits to do work. Among some, the first was regarding the miscommunication regarding the survey then after the gas being turned off to cap the old gas fire not turning it back on and when the boiler was erroring being told it must be a boiler fault, luckily I realised the issue before calling a gas engineer. Also not informed by the shop about supply issues on the fire and beam. Then I "misinterpreted" the word included when in the shop a member of staff said a heat deflector if needed is included, granted it was marked as an extra on the invoice which my wife dealt with in the shop and I hadn't checked. My review was not with any malice and can only write about my personal experience. Mr Watmough
