** would rate no stars if could ** Just been for a blood test at Winstanley medical centre I was 18 minutes late due to the weather and traffic but I had rang prior to say I would be late and was told get there when you can I turned up at the practice and tried to book in I was shouted at saying it was 22 minutes past now your appointment was at 8:06 the attitude of the receptionist was awful and condescending I felt she wasnt very approachable. When she went to speak to the phlebotomist I could hear them speaking and heard if anyone else is late Im not doing them! Very inconsiderate due to the weather conditions today. I asked the receptionists for my blood form and there was huffs and puffs to do the task which I found very upsetting as I am aware the nhs is strained but it is very disheartening to patients as they can see that even the staff are not bothered about their care. All in all no wonder things in patients health are being missed due the the receptions attitude when you ring and ask for an appointment people are scared to ring. I will also be complaining to the ccg as it is not the first time I have had to deal with rude reception staff at the practice

Terrible GP practice. Dr Saxena is very rude and not helpful. I went to visit the practice as had continuous stomach pains where she told me I had trapped win. Unhappy with that diagnosis I attended AE this Saturday to be told I have a tumour on my bowel and I am having surgery tomorrow. Also the practice manager Paul is the most rudiest person I have ever seen he thinks hes better than he is. Ill look forward to seeing them appear at GMC when I logged complain avoid at all costs

Do not use these doctors if you have mental health problems. Got spoken to very short and snappy on the phone by the GP Dr. Chuka like I was just a nuisance to her. I asked for an increase in medication, when I went to pick the prescription up at boots the pharmacist on hand would not issue them and was very concerned the doctor had prescribed an increase as it would exceed the maximum dose and can cause cardiac arrest! Every time you call there is a long wait and they get thier untrained receptionist to deal with you with the consultation instead of themselves! Absolutely disgusting. No wonder so many people commit suicide as the help just isn't there. Gave up on this surgery and when I rang back as not had the chance to change surgery got the same doctor on the phone, when I confronted her about it she refused to give me the medication I needed and was asking for and hung up me. Will be taking it further.
